Ahmed Hussein, DDS
Dr. Hussein comes to us with extensive training and experience. Dr. Hussein obtained a Bachelors of Science degree in both Psychology and Biomedical Sciences at the University at Buffalo where he graduated at the top of his class and with honors in both areas of study. He then went on to complete his dental training at the University at Buffalo graduating once again at the top of his class and with honors. Going into dental school Dr. Hussein knew that he wanted to work with children. While at dental school he volunteered after hours and on weekends in the pediatric clinic where his dedication, compassion and skill were quickly noticed by the pediatric dental faculty. After graduating from dental school Dr. Hussein completed his residency at the University at Buffalo where he specialized in the field of Pediatric Dentistry and while serving as Chief Resident. Dr. Hussein is not only determined to provide exceptional dental treatment, but to also provide an environment where children and parents are happy to see the dentist. He believes that the Dentist/Parent/Child relationship is key to the development of outstanding oral health. By recognizing that the encounters we have as children greatly affect how we develop and how we feel about things as we get older, Dr. Hussein strives to build a strong foundation so that none of his patients will ever fear the dentist. When not at work Dr. Hussein’s personal interests include playing guitar, cooking, weight lifting and going on runs with his dog Max.
